Introduction
The geologic processes of volcanoes effect how each individual earth sphere interacts with the earth as a system. This website covers basic volcanology providing information on how volcanoes operate as a part of the geosphere and the effects of volcano systems on the anthrosphere with volcanic hazards posing risk to communities that live in volcanic regions. Additional information on the effects of volcanic activity in relation to the atmosphere, biosphere and pedosphere is also covered providing how eruptions can change the current processes of these spheres.

The Earth is a unique planet, understanding the forces that generate this planet is what scientists have been struggling to understand for centuries. In the last 100 years there has been an acceleration in scientific discovers that continue to develop an understanding of the earth. This site provides information on the recent discoveries of volcanoes and using that information to interpret the feedback it has on the earth. Consolidated into three pages the purpose of this site is to educate and provide knowledge to anyone seeking information about volcanic processes.
